Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in THE LAW of the Lord. Psalm 119:1 (through v.38). LAW: direction, instruction (human or divine), body of prophetic teaching. "Blessed are they that keep HIS TESTIMONIES, and that seek him with the whole heart". v.2. TESTIMONIES: witness, always plural and always of laws as divine testimonies. "They also do no iniquity: they walk in HIS WAYS". v.3. WAYS: road, distance, journey, manner, path. "Thou hast commanded us to keep THY PRECEPTS diligently". v.4 PRECEPTS: a mandate of God, commandment, statute. "O that my ways were directed to keep THY STATUTES"! v.5. STATUTES: ordinance, limit, something prescribed, due. "Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all THY COMMANDMENTS". v.6. COMMANDMENTS: of God, of code, of wisdom. "I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENTS". v.7. JUDGMENTS: act of deciding a case, sentence, decision, ordinance. "Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to THY WORD". v.9. WORD: speech, word, speaking, thing, saying, utterance. "Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold WONDROUS THINGS out of thy law". v.18. THINGS: be marvellous, be wonderful, be surpassing, be extraordinary, separate by distinguishing action. "Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy WONDROUS WORKS". v.27. WORKS: to be marvellous, be wonderful, be surpassing, be extraordinary, separate by distinguishing action, to be beyond one's power, be difficult to do, to be difficult to understand. "Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who is devoted to THY FEAR". v.38. FEAR: awesome or terrifying thing (object causing fear), fear (of God), respect, reverence, piety, revered. To study these words and definitions is to study the Attributes of God, to study God Himself. We can do our best to "Study" God, but it doesn't take long to figure out, MAN REALLY CAN'T DESCRIBE GOD. But Study anyway, and, Be Blessed.
