Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with SO GREAT A CLOUD OF WITNESSES, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us RUN WITH PATIENCE the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our Faith; who FOR the JOY that was set before Him ENDURED THE CROSS, despising the shame, AND IS SET down AT the right hand of THE THRONE OF GOD. Hebrews 12:1-2. There is at least one, and possibly two (?) clouds of Witnesses. The first are people all around you. Some are cheering you on, some are praying for you, some don't care what you do, and some actually hate you, BUT ALL ARE WATCHING YOU. You are marked with a bullseye on your back. Satan has his sights on you to take you down, and the Lord has His Sights on you to Grow you in CHRISTLIKENESS. You are "Running the Race" straight into Christ and Satan himself can't stop you He will challenge you at every turn, question the direction you're going, and try to prove to you that you really have no reason to run. Christ has given you the Motive, Motivation, Machinery and Marching Orders of all that He is asking of you and Providing EVERYTHING that you not fail. YOU MUST, AND YOU CAN, CROSS THE FINISH LINE. Christ has PAID IN FULL your "Entrance Fee", the Holy Spirit will coach you EVERY step of the Way, with absolutely no Provision for failure. The second (?) possible Cloud of Witnesses may be the angels in Heaven. ALL EYES ARE ON YOU, BELIEVER, FROM SATAN, TO GOD, AND MAN. Like it or not, everyone is watching, YOU. With this race Sponsored and Paid For, by Christ, Coached to you by the Holy Spirit, YOU CAN'T LOSE, unless you just plain quit, and that is your choice. That is Satan's department and he'll do all he can to get you to quit. Be enCOURAGED by Christ, and don't be DIScouraged by Satan. This will be a hard fought battle THAT NO TRUE CHRISTIAN WILL LOSE. Christians cheer each other on, and not one sheep will be lost. Win the Race, and, Be Blessed.
