MORNINGTIME 3610

A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels: The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother: My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not. My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path: Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets: But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. Proverbs 1: 5,7-8,10,15,20,25-32. First, the Lord Encourages all to come to Him and run from sin. To Trust and Obey, to Live in Christ, that's GOoD. But most won't listen, they have no Fear of the Lord and will decide for themselves if He should be listened to. Nope, not today, and down the merry Road to Sin they go. Then when trouble hits, more than they can handle, and they do (phony) "cry out" to God to save than, He laughs at their calamities and walks away. (THIS IS NOT A CRY OF REPENTANCE, JUST, "I GOT CAUGHT, HELP ME"). Only a Cry of Real Repentance will touch the Heart of the Lord, and then He'll move Heaven and earth to Save His lost sheep. Whether you call out to the Lord in simple Obedience, or through great troubles and THEN call from Repentance unto Salvation, just COME TO CHRIST, and, Be Blessed.
