But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. 1 Peter 4:7. (Someday, sooner or later, all this WILL come to an end). For the time is come that JUDGMENT MUST BEGIN AT THE HOUSE OF GOD: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 1 Peter 4:17. If you desire to be a Preacher or a Teacher in the Body of Christ, you should have your own family in order and your kids living in obedience in your family care. Anything less and people will call you a hypocrite for, "Do as I say and not as I do". The Lord set that example and He also must live by it. How can He condemn the world for sin, and let His Own kids run rampant in sin and worldliness? He can't and He won't. So the Lord MUST start the Time of Judgment with the church, (the general church of America), and weed out the phonies, the riff-raff, the deceivers and the God-Haters. Does this mean that your little congregation will be Christian Clean in all the pews? No, it means that the general "church" in America will continue on the easy going, ear tickling, no conviction "preaching" its always had, AND THE TRUE BODY OF CHRIST, THE BRIDE OF CHRIST, THE REAL BELIEVERS will be elsewhere getting run through the grinder being Purified by Christ. It isn't any fun to be "worked over" by the Lord, or to go through "the furnace" and come out as Pure Gold, but it definitely is worth it. As the Lord Loves His, He chastens and corrects them to make them more like Christ. His Hand on you is ALWAYS a GOoD Thing, even when it hurts. The Lord never said "Growing in Christ" was fun or easy, but it IS the best move you'll ever make. Welcome His Hand-iwork as He deals with the American church and brings out His Bride, without spot, blemish or wrinkle. It's your call to "run with the crowd", or to "Run With Christ". One is cheap and easy ending in Hell, the other is Hard and sometimes Painful, but if you'll choose Hard, you will Eternally, Be Blessed.
