MORNINGTIME 3637

And Joshua said unto the people, Ye are witnesses against yourselves that YE HAVE CHOSEN YOU THE LORD, TO SERVE HIM. And they said, We are witnesses. Now therefore put away, said he, the strange gods which are among you, AND INCLINE YOUR HEART UNTO THE LORD GOD OF ISRAEL. And the people said unto Joshua, The Lord our God will we serve, AND HIS VOICE WILL WE OBEY. Joshua 24:22-24. This is a job not even Superman can do, because physical man, super or not, is not able or capable of Obeying the Things of the Lord. The Lord's Thoughts and Ways are so far above our thoughts and ways, that it actually takes the Hand of the Lord through His Holy Spirit to translate His High and Holy Thoughts into thoughts man can understand. Don't be disheartened here, all these fancy words simply mean that Christ stands between us and the Lord God Almighty as The Mediator, the Translator, the In Between Guy,
that takes The Holy, and makes it understandable to the unholy. Here's the Bottom Line in all its simplicity. OBEDIENCE. Whether you're a lost person being wooed to Christ through Repentance unto Salvation, or you're a long time Saved sheep, to Grow into and take your part in the Bride of Christ is simply Be Obedient to the Leading of the Holy Spirit as He Directs your steps, ONE SIMPLE OBEDIENCE AT A TIME. It's all that simple. Whatever it is the Holy Spirit asks of you, He will give you the Faith AND the Ability to say "Yes" to His Directing AND the Strength to follow through and Obey. Don't be fearful about the Future, Be Fearless in Christ Who holds the future in His Hands. Simply Obey each Directive throughout your day. And when you mess up, GET BACK UP, REPENT, AND CONTINUE ON IN OBEDIENCE. It's not about how many times you fail, but that you get back up and keep going ONE MORE TIME than the times you fell. OVERCOMERS WILL LIVE THIS LIFE, IN CHRIST. It's the toughest Life you'll ever Live, and each Obedience will prepare you for the next. What A Way to Eternally, Be Blessed.
