MORNINGTIME 3643

And (Saul) fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou Me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the picks. (To go against the Work that I am doing). And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do. And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink. Acts 9:4-6,9. Even as an unsaved sinner, Saul had a Pure Heart for Christ. Say what??? By the Biblical Standards of his day, he wanted to keep The Church free of "heathen" influence. Any doctrine outside of accepted church doctrine had to be dealt with quickly and severely, to get rid of any blight, and warn against anyone trying to sneak in erroneous teachings. When Saul became Paul, his Heart was changed to Love even those who were deceived, and his mind was changed to now understand the Mind of Christ, AND TO PREACH CHRIST TO A LOST AND DYING WORLD. Where are the Preachers today who will absolutely Preach Christ and the Fullness of His Word, no matter what? If it's in the Bible, they'll Preach it. If it's not in the Bible, their church will no longer "do it", in spite of church traditions, big money and "ruling families". As they Preach and Teach Christ, the Holy Spirit will give you Understanding and Discernment as to what needs to be thrown out of the church's "doctrine and traditions".  For a man to make a list of do's and don'ts will quickly be called Legalistic. But for the men of the church to Pray Together and ask the Lord for Discernment, when the Holy Spirit speaks, IT'S A HEART CHANGER. It'll get done His Way and no one of Faith will look back. Is anything in your church unbiblical? You, and others, start Praying about it, and watch the Holy Spirit start to Grow your church into the Bride of Christ. "Be Paul", Preach Christ, and Be Blessed.
