And Jesus went into the temple of God, AND CAST OUT all them that sold and bought in the temple, AND OVERTHREW the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, And said unto them, It is written, MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED THE HOUSE OF PRAYER; but ye have made it a den of thieves. Matthew 21:12-13. Know ye not that YE ARE THE TEMPLE OF GOD, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, HIM SHALL GOD DESTROY; for the temple of God is Holy, WHICH TEMPLE YE ARE. 1 Corinthians 3: 16-17. Back in the day, the act of worshipping in the temple was VERY regulated. People were very concerned with all the little details, laws, rules and regulations of HOW to worship the Lord with everything just so, but never understood WHO they were trying worship. They had their eyes off of the Lord and what He wanted, and on to all the little finite details man had added to this thing called "Worship". And we still do the same thing today as back then. We are very careful to follow the same procedures we've always followed, sing the same songs and follow the "proven" programs that are sure to bring in the younger people. We have the "head knowledge" and even the understanding down pat, we just don't have "the heart" to listen to the Lord Himself and follow Him wherever He Leads. If we don't "eat" from the Masters Table, and "drink" His Living Water, even daily, we will grow, but grow incomplete. Maybe even grow with deformities or disfigurement. Unless this "lack" is dealt with and changed, the end result can be spiritual death."Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. Ever learning, and never able to come to the Knowledge of the Truth". 2 Timothy 3:5,7. Their form of godliness is just "churchianity" and nothing more. "If any man defile the Temple of God, him shall God destroy"; The definition of the concept "destroy" is in the Lord's Hands. Be Whole, Feast Fully at HIS Table, and, Be Blessed.
