MORNINGTIME 3680

But as truly as I live, ALL THE EARTH shall be filled with the Glory of the Lord. Numbers 14:21. For now we see THROUGH A GLASS, DARKLY; but then face to face: NOW I KNOW IN PART; but then shall I know even as also I am known. 1 Corinthians 13:12. There are two things going on here. First, we can see with our physical eyes all the beauty of this physical world all around us, and two, we can "see" the Handiwork of the Lord's Creation, AND "see" just enough of the Lord to Know He's really there. "Now Faith is the substance of things HOPED FOR, the evidence of things NOT SEEN. Hebrews 11:1. An unsaved person KNOWS there's "something more" than just the things around him. He's actually seeing the Glory of the Lord reflected from everything around him. The Holy Spirit is wooing him to ask, "Is that You, Lord"? ALL people see the Glory of the Lord. The ones with a Heart to see more are the ones who ask, "Is that You, Lord"? That's the mustard seed of Faith starting to Seek Christ. As they Hunger for more of Christ, He starts to reveal Himself to them just enough for them to Know they're on the right track and to keep Seeking, but not enough to reveal ALL of Himself to them. It's this "Growing" in Faith that allows then to see more and more of Christ. (No, Christ isn't playing games here or teasing someone to come to Him, and THEN He leaves them). Growing Faith is at work here and when a "Fullness" comes of Who Christ Is, they become Saved, Christians, Followers of Christ. They've seen enough to KNOW that Christ Loves them and they follow Him. And all this started when they saw the Glory of the Lord AND ASKED, "Is that You Lord"? That "through the glass darkly" Faith still grows in senior Believers as they too see just enough to keep Growing in and through Christ. He Reveals Himself to each Believer just enough for them to keep asking for More. We are daily "Satisfied" in Christ as we also want More of Him each day as He reveals Himself more Fully to us to, Be Blessed.
