MORNINGTIME 3703

And Aaron said unto (the Jews), Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me. And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron. And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after HE had MADE it A MOLTEN CALF: AND THEY SAID, THESE BE THY gODS, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. And when AARON SAW IT, he built an altar before it; AND Aaron MADE PROCLAMATION, and said, To morrow is a feast TO THE (golden calf) LORD. And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink (themselves drunk), and rose up to play (as in a sex orgy). Exodus 32:2-6. Moses had been up on The Mountain for 40 days Fellowshipping with the Lord and receiving instructions on how to lead the people. This is a case of, "When the cat's away, the mice will play". They did this because Moses AND the Lord were nowhere to be found. These people had NO FEAR of Moses OR the Lord and fell back into basic Godless Desires for a drunken orgy. Today, people, be very careful, if your Pastor announces he'll be someplace else this Sunday, and not at church, will you skip going to church because The Authority over you isn't there? Will you skip church because someone else OF LESSER ABILITIES is "fill in" preaching? Someone "less godly" than your regular preacher??? If that's your attitude, THAT'S THE SAME AS THE PEOPLE BACK IN MOSES DAY. The root problem is ANY excuse to miss church, is good enough. Do you go to church to hear From The Lord and ANY vessel He chooses to speak through, or "Pastor's gone, I'll stay home and Play"?? EXAMINE YOURSELF, will you stay out of church for fear of Covid, or go to church with a Holy, Reverent Fear of the Lord God Almighty? Do you follow a certain man, or do you follow the Lord God? Follow God, and, Be Blessed.
