TAKE HEED to yourselves, that your heart BE NOT DECEIVED, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them; Deuteronomy 11:16. And (Jesus) said, Take heed that ye BE NOT DECEIVED: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: GO ye NOT therefore AFTER THEM. Luke 21:8. BE NOT DECEIVED: evil communications corrupt good manners. 1 Corinthians 15:33. BE NOT DECEIVED; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For HE THAT SOWETH TO HIS FLESH SHALL of the flesh REAP CORRUPTION; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life Everlasting. Galatians 6:7-8. BUT EVIL MEN and seducers shall wax worse and worse, DECEIVING, AND BEING DECEIVED. 2 Timothy 3:13. AND THE DEVIL that deceived them WAS CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Revelation 20:10. Strong's Definition, TO DECEIVE; "To (properly cause to) roam (from safety truth or virtue): - go astray, deceive, err, seduce, wander, be out of the way". To deceive is to OFFER a way other than the Lord's Way, to offer something easier than that which the Lord Desires. SATAN CAN ONLY OFFER DECEPTION, HE CAN NOT MAKE YOU ACCEPT, BELIEVE OR FOLLOW IT. An FBI agent will ONLY study the Real Thing, from every aspect and every angle until he is saturated with The Truth of that Thing. Then, when a phony is offered, he immediately recognizes the attempted deception, and casts the false aside. HE KNOWS THE TRUTH, and the false can't stand against IT. When you Study, Ponder On, Muse Over and Test the Word of God, YOU WILL KNOW THE TRUTH AND THE TRUTH WILL MAKE YOU FREE of any deception trying to infiltrate you. To BE deceived, is  to desire something OTHER than The Truth, to CHOOSE a lie and turn FROM The Truth. Other than Christ and His Gospel, ALL religions, denominations and faiths ARE LIES, or have lies in them. BE NOT DECEIVED, and, Be Blessed.
