But ye have an Unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. But the Anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same Anointing teacheth you of all things, and is Truth, and is no lie, and even as It hath taught you, ye shall abide in Him. 1 John 2:20,27. As an illustration, this is one Way the Holy Spirit wants to guide and direct your steps all the day long. Upon getting to a job in a fellow's house, I noticed the "whole house" water shut off valve. For just a moment it was "highlighted", like, "Be sure to notice me, I'll be important later". I went on to work on the task at hand. When "later" came it was time to shut off the water, I remembered where the shut off valve was, and did so, finished my work and moved on. The Holy Spirit showed me something that normally would be of no interest, but today, it was of great interest. I have been learning to listen to that little "Unction" and pay attention to those small details as I see them throughout the day. They always come back as Important, later. And when I "miss" one of those "notices", the Holy Spirit reminds me later of its importance and my not paying attention to it. He does not do this in a Condemning way, but more like, "Pay attention next time, these are important". He's firm, yet gentle. If you'll look and listen, your day can have many of these Urgings. It's always more interesting to try to pay attention to these things, watch them unfold throughout the day, and have a time of "Thank you Lord" as the day moves on. WHATEVER work you do, the Holy Spirit wants to be involved and help you do it even better. His Goal is that you learn, (and sometimes that's even through trial and error), to Hear, Comprehend, Understand and Obey His Instructions all the day long. Again, His Unctions are there all day long. And when you miss one, Learn from your mistake and keep moving forward. You'll see HIM all day long, and you Will Eternally, Be Blessed.
