MORNINGTIME 3782

Let us therefore come boldly unto the Throne of Grace, that we may obtain Mercy, and find Grace to help IN TIME OF NEED. Hebrews 4:16. I must personally take a moment to Testify of this Mercy and Grace AND the Keeping Power of the Lord. Recently, to go on vacation, we asked to rent an SUV from the car rental company, as our car was having engine problems. They gave us a Jeep Wrangler. On our way to the beach, the Interstate traffic was moving along nicely at 60 MPH. I looked up at the rear view mirror and saw for just a moment the front left corner of a black sedan as he hit the rear of our vehicle, hard. When we stopped, the black sedan was nowhere to be found and 911 directed us to the next exit to safely meet with the Highway Patrol for the paperwork. The ONLY damage to our Jeep was a scratch and small hole on the back bumper, and a cut to the spare tire bolted above the bumper. Apparently a hit and run. An hour later the Highway Patrol officer called and said they found the car that hit us and he sent us 2 pictures of the car. The driver said he knew he had hit something but didn't know what it was. His car was about 3 years old, and it was totalled. We drove on to our vacation destination. What's the point of all this? Satan wants to do us all great harm, and worse. Like with Job, the Lord may say, "Yes, but only this far, and no farther", as He sets the limits He will allow Satan to go, AND NO FARTHER. Believers, DON'T live in fear of what Satan MIGHT do, or WANT to do, he's like a dog on a leash, he can only go as far as the Lord allows him to go. And whatever the Lord DOES allow is for your Growth and Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. HIS KEEPING POWER IS AMAZINGLY AWESOME. And whenever we get to see this "Hand of the Lord" in action, WE GET TO TESTIFY OF IT TO OTHERS, and Build their Faith in the Lord. We ALL have stories of Things the Lord does for, to and through us, that we can share them with others, that they too may Grow In Faith, and, Be Blessed.
