Believe Me that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me: or else believe Me FOR THE VERY WORKS' SAKE. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on Me, the works that I do SHALL HE DO ALSO; AND GREATER WORKS THAN THESE shall he do; because I go unto My Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in My Name, that will I do, THAT THE FATHER MAY BE GLORIFIED in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing IN MY NAME, I WILL DO IT. IF YE LOVE ME, KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS. John 14:11-15. The first Basic Ground Rule is that the Lord God Almighty can do anything about anything that will Lift Up, Magnify, Honour and Bless His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, Period. BUT GENERALLY, you don't walk up to Christ and say, "Hey Lord, I think I'd like to walk on water today". That just doesn't happen. Another Ground Rule is that the Holy Spirit will give you a Mustard Seed of Faith and ask you to look at it, study it, AND BELIEVE IT as He makes this Thing ALIVE IN YOUR SPIRIT, to such a degree that there is NO room for doubt or fear about it, at all. As He builds your Faith about The Thing He said or did, your Faith will Grow to the place of, if Christ asks you to do The Thing, it's "Yes Lord" and it gets done, no matter how impossible it may look. To Grow in Faith about a small Thing, will lead to a Faith for a bigger and bigger Thing, eventually bonding with Obedience to where the "impossible" now becomes a Way of Life and Faith in Christ. For example, you're cooking enough food for your group of people, and the Lord sends in even more people (to test you) and you ask Him to "stretch" the food enough to feed the extras, In Jesus Name, AND HE DOES, then everybody AND the Lord are Blessed. Your Faith is on the Path to even greater Things, as needed. And yes, the Lord is the One to determine what "need" is. He just wants us to Learn and Understand that He is The Answer to ALL our needs. Remember, the Bible is also a Book full of Miraculous Ways the Lord uses to Provide for His People to, Be Blessed.
