MORNINGTIME 3796

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; THAT WE MAY LEAD A QUIET AND PEACEABLE LIFE IN ALL GODLINESS AND HONESTY. For this is GOoD and Acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 1 Timothy 2:1-3. Here are two ways to read this. First, pray for kings that they let us Believers be about the Lord's business and leave us alone. Seeing that the Word is usually controversial and can easily cause conviction among sinners, this way may not be as easy as it looks. The second way to read these Scriptures is, Christians, Believers, the Followers of Christ are to Pray for ALL men to come to the Saving Knowledge of Christ, yes, but that these same Believers will be so Solidly Founded on their Rock, Jesus, The Christ, that no matter what is going on around them, they will be Full of the Peace of Christ with Joy Unspeakable. These Believers will have NO CONCERNS about higher prices, churches being shut down around them, or giving their Life to Christ through Martyrdom. The idea of losing their head to a sword has less importance to them than praying for the Salvation of the man about to use the sword. Their main concern in Life is NOT for their own safety or survival, BUT FOR THE SAFETY AND SURVIVAL TO COME TO CHRIST OF THE LOST SOULS AROUND THEM. These Believers will have that Perfect Peace that Defies Understanding so saturated throughout their lives that nothing and no one scares them or puts fear in them. To Live In Christ, and to Die In Christ, is just "another day in the office" as they Fully Trust Christ for EVERYTHING in and around them. "Perfect Peace" in Christ has a Serious Biblical Definition about it, one that the church seems to generally miss Perfect Peace In Christ is where Believers are headed in spite of whatever "the church" is doing. (As in apostasy, wimpy sermons and lack of faith). TRUST CHRIST, Believe His Word, and, Be Blessed.
