MORNINGTIME 3816by Benjamin Munsell on August 13, 2021
I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress: MY GOD; IN HIM WILL I TRUST. He shall cover thee with His Feathers, and under His Wings shalt thou trust: His Truth shall be thy Shield and Buckler. For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. (Now the Lord is speaking), He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. Psalm 91: 2,4,11,15. Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; ("Deny Christ and you shall live"). that they might obtain a Better Resurrection: And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. And these all, having obtained a good report Through Faith, received not the promise: (Old Testament Believers believed in God, without the Knowledge of Christ). Hebrews 11:35-39. There are two things going on here. The Lord will Save, Keep, Grow and Prosper the Spiritual Man of Christ inside you. Until the physical body dies, your Spiritual Man will Grow in CHRISTLIKENESS. The physical man is another story. Yes, the Lord may keep you physically safe and prosperous, you die in your sleep peacefully, and go to be with the Lord forever. OR, you may have a physically VERY HARD LIFE, and die in great pain and suffering. Still to be with the Lord forever. Or be anywhere between these two possibilities. If you Live, Love and Obey Christ, when He calls you Home, IT WILL BE GLORIOUS AND FOR HIS PRAISE. The body will die and go back to dust. Christ died that you may Spiritually Live and be with Him Forever. Believer, Be Encouraged, Christ will Save you, and you WILL, Be Blessed.
