MORNINGTIME 3959

Nevertheless among the chief rulers also MANY BELIEVED ON HIM; BUT because of the Pharisees THEY DID NOT CONFESS HIM, lest they should be put out of the synagogue: FOR THEY LOVED THE PRAISE OF MEN more than the praise of God. John 12:42-43. (Oh, so close to Salvation, and yet, so far away). Likewise also the chief priests mocking Him, with the scribes and elders, said, He saved others; himself He cannot save. If He be the King of Israel, let Him now come down from the cross, and we will believe Him. He trusted in God; let Him deliver Him now, if He will have Him: for He said, I am the Son of God. Now when THE CENTURION, AND THEY THAT WERE WITH HIM, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they FEARED GREATLY, SAYING, TRULY THIS WAS THE SON OF GOD. Matthew 27:41-43,54. And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant WERE AFFRIGHTED, AND GAVE GLORY TO the GOD of Heaven. Revelation 11:13. Again, lots of fear and trembling, some acknowledging that there is a God, and even an admission that God lives in Heaven, but no real evidence of a Repentant and Contrite Heart before the Lord. It appears that none of these people fully followed through unto Salvation. Please note, maybe some did, there's just no Full Word to say such. Here's my point, many people can look like they're running headlong at the Cross, and then stop short just before getting there, and quietly go back to their old way of life. Don't be deceived by someone making ALMOST all the "right moves" to get Saved and fall short, as your desire for them TO get saved blinds you from seeing they didn't finish, you see no changes in their daily doings, and there is no Fellowship with them. We can't judge their Salvation or not, OK, but we can keep an eye out for Fruit Inspection. Why? Because if you see no change, KEEP THEM IN PRAYER, that they may Know Christ, and, Be Blessed.
