MORNINGTIME 3977

Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man THAT DOETH EVIL, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: FOR THERE IS NO RESPECT OF PERSONS WITH GOD. Romans 2:9-11. Let's dig deeper into the Concept these verses are conveying to Believers AND to the lost. Here's one way to look at this. Tribulation is generally trouble in one's life, and when a Christian runs into trouble he'll run to the Lord and ask Him what He is saying and what does He want us to do about it. Tribulation is an attention getter, and the Believer uses it to Grow in CHRISTLIKENESS. The Lord will use tribulation in a lost person's life to try to Encourage that person to call upon the Lord. Sometimes that works, but most of the time, it doesn't. Hard Tribulation, sometimes called "Torture", may be used by the Lord to dig way down into the True Heart Attitude of a person, Saved, or not. Why? It will show the "christian" in name only that he is not one of the Lord's, and that he never really Believed in Christ in the first place. His true Phoniness comes to light. On the other hand, when a True Christian is tortured, his Faith just digs down deeper to stay anchored to Christ, the Solid Rock. This Faith Encourages the Believer even more and goes out as a Testimony to the Saving and Keeping Power of the Lord Himself. Whether they like it or not, the cost to the unbeliever upon torturing a Believer is, HE WILL HAVE TO ADMIT TO HIMSELF, THAT BELIEVER HAS BEEN WITH CHRIST. That Testimony will stand against the Torturer on his Judgment Day if he doesn't come to Christ. Understand, that Tribulation Testimony will shine as a Beacon straight into the face of this lost and dying world. Your "Christian Death" is not lost on unbelievers, THEY WILL SEE IT AND BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR ITS TRUTH whether they like it or not. Christian, your "Tribulation Torture " IS A CALL TO THE LOST, and you WILL, Be Blessed.
