MORNINGTIME 3998by Benjamin Munsell on April 27, 2022
Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; AND THEY TOOK KNOWLEDGE OF THEM, THAT THEY HAD BEEN WITH JESUS. Acts 4:13. In the days when Jesus walked the hillsides and ministered to people, we would be hard pressed to not believe that ALL people in that little country of Israel had at least heard something ABOUT Jesus, even as third- or fourth-hand information. Then there were those who knew OF Jesus from someone who had personally seen or even talked to Jesus themselves. This would be better described as secondhand information. Then we have people who have personally talked to or been ministered to by Jesus’ face to face. This is first-hand information and allowable in a court of law as proper evidence. These people met Jesus, and that's all, they never became followers or Believers in Christ. They were even told by Jesus what they needed to do to "be Saved" but they never followed through with any action. They just let His Words drop to the ground, unheeded. These people were still lost and on their way to Hell with no place in their Hearts for Christ. Finally, we have those people who have heard the stories, rumors, seen for themselves, out just Knew there was Something More than what the world was offering, AND CHRIST FOUND THEM AND THEY FOLLOW HIM WHEREVER HE LEADS, even to the very gates of Hell with no Fear and no thought for their own wellbeing. THEY LOVE CHRIST AND DO EVERYTHING THEY CAN TO GET HIS WORD OUT. Which one of these people do you associate with, look up to or even try to be like? Do your friends talk about you and recognize you as, "He's been with Jesus"? Are you slandered and maligned because you talk about that "God stuff"? Do your friends shy away from you because they feel "Convicted" when you're around? No? Well, today can be the first day of a Heart and Godly Attitude Change in your life, and if you want to Grow in CHRISTLIKENESS, you can Bless and, Be Blessed.
