MORNINGTIME 4022

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth. 2 Timothy 2:15. But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. And above all things have fervent Charity (Love) among yourselves: for Charity shall cover the multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:7-8. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. Matthew 24:42. Christ is coming for you in generally 1 of 3 possible ways. He calls you home through death at any moment, or He comes to get you in some sort of Rapture before all the trouble hits, or He comes for you at the very end of all things. The good news/bad news is, HE'S COMING TO GET YOU. Ready or not He's coming in His Time whether you're ready or not. It's nice to hope for maybe 70 or 80 years, but even that's not a solid promise. Your time can run out even before you finish reading this Devotional. Or maybe you'll be here to see Christ touch down on the Mount of Olives. No one knows. Guess what? TODAY IS YOUR DAY FOR SALVATION. TODAY IS YOUR DAY TO ASK THE HOLY SPIRIT TO GROW YOU IN MORE CHRISTLIKENESS. Whatever you need, Saved or lost, TODAY IS THE DAY TO DEAL WITH IT AS THE LORD DIRECTS. I know, that's a tall order and no excuses will be acceptable. Jesus Himself said, "For He saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; BEHOLD, NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION. 2 Corinthians 6:2. And since these are Jesus Own words, to say "No" to Christ Himself is not a good idea. And if you're a Believer, to say "No" to the Holy Spirit and tell Him today is not a good day to grow in CHRISTLIKENESS, maybe tomorrow, is also not a good idea. This doesn't necessarily mean you'll lose your salvation, but you WILL lose out on some of what the Lord has in store for you. Even Moses said "No" one too many times and missed out on God's Best for his life. Call on Christ now, and, Be Blessed.
