MORNINGTIME 4028

And the Word of the Lord came unto Jonah the second time, saying, Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee. So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the Word of the Lord. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days' journey. And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, YET FORTY DAYS, AND NINEVEH SHALL BE OVERTHROWN. So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them. Jonah 3:1-5. And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that He had said that He would do unto them; and He did it not. Jonah 3:10. But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he was very angry. And he prayed unto the Lord, and said, I pray thee, O Lord, was not this my saying, when I was yet in my country? Therefore I fled before unto Tarshish: for I knew that thou art a Gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repentest thee of the evil. Jonah 4:1-2. Jonah KNEW the Lord would save Nineveh, and he also knew that the people of Nineveh were the most vile, wicked and hateful people ever to exist, WHO, (in his mind) DESERVED TO DIE. Yes, Jonah did Preach as the Lord told him to, BUT WITH A TERRIBLE ATTITUDE. The Word was right, but his attitude was wrong, AND THE LORD SAVED THEM ANYWAY. Here's the point, no matter what your "attitude" is, just PREACH THE WORD as the Lord directs, and the Lord will take care of the rest. His Word will not return void, it will get Results, and it may even change YOUR Heart Attitude. Obedience is first, everything else comes after. When you're accused of Preaching with a bad attitude, THE LORD IS DEALING WITH THE ONE ACCUSING YOU OF "BAD ATTITUDE" PREACHING. Let the Lord deal with them, AND with you, and maybe everyone will come away with a better Attitude AND more Love for the Lord.  What a Way to, Be Blessed.
