MORNINGTIME 4052

THE HEART is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Jeremiah 17:9. Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes? They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine. Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright. At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder. Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things. Yea, thou shalt be as he that lieth down in the midst of the sea, or as he that lieth upon the top of a mast.  They have stricken me, shalt thou say, and I was not sick; they have beaten me, and I felt it not: when shall I awake? I WILL SEEK IT YET AGAIN. Proverbs 23:29-35. This life we live is full of trials, troubles, testing's and tribulations, all designed to show us that they are more and greater than we can handling. It becomes overwhelming and just gets even worse. This is a good thing as we come to the end of ourselves with nowhere to turn, but to Christ. The conviction of sin in one's life will bring a man to the edge of desperate measures. This is where Christ stands ready, willing and able to take all those burdens upon Himself and bring you into Salvation. This is also the place where Satan jumps in to offer his answer to all your problems by offering Alcohol to dull the senses and "take away" all your problems, FOR A LITTLE WHILE, SHORT TERM, ONLY TEMPORARILY, and then the problems come flooding back. And so the cycle goes on and on and on until Alcohol kills you, and in Hell all your problems REALLY begin. Alcoholics are smart enough to KNOW their alcoholic answers to their problems are only temporary, AND DEEP DOWN THEY KNOW CHRIST IS THE PERFECT ANSWER TO THEIR PROBLEMS. Stubbornness, haughtiness and pride tries to keep one from Christ. HE'S WAITING RIGHT NOW TO BE FOUND, that you may, Be Blessed.
