MORNINGTIME 4063

Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7. It's obvious the guy who wrote this verse had no idea how bad things are these days. He didn't have nightly news back then to keep him updated every day!!! Or so we'd like to think. Actually, he wrote these verses ESPECIALLY for us of this generation, possibly near the end of all things. He Knew EXACTLY what, and Who, he was talking about. We can study the news of the day and become very afraid, or we can study the God of all Creation and KNOW that He has Everything under control, AT ALL TIMES, IN ALL SITUATIONS. PERIOD, END OF STORY. If your Heart is very fearful, be very afraid. But if your heart is very much patiently waiting for the return of our Saviour with the Understanding the He has EVERYTHING under His control, and that there is nothing left for you to worry about, GOoD for you, you're in a GOoD Place and nothing can come by and shake you from that. The Residue of Christ being fully in charge is His leaving the Residue of Peace and Joy all through your life. To have great Peace and Joy when they want to kill you pretty much says it all. This is where your testimony comes to real life. And isn't that what the Lord wants to show the world, that even in the worst of troubles, YOU CAN BE ABSOLUTELY FULL OF THE PEACE THAT PASSES UNDERSTANDING, AND JOY UNSPEAKABLE. His Word will stand for all of Eternity because it never changes with the whims of man. His Joy is way more Powerful than man's fears. You've read the Truth; now where do you stand? To Live in Christ is to live in His Peace & Joy. To trust on the world brings worry and fear. Where do you want to spend Eternity, and, Be Blessed?
