MORNINGTIME 4097

STUDY to shew thyself approved UNTO GOD, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF TRUTH. 2 Timothy 2:15. The church seems to be about equally divided when it comes to the Pre-trib/Post-trib Rapture, and very few are willing to change. Can we compromise and take a lesson from The Tail Hook? When a jet fighter plane wants to land on an aircraft carrier and come to a full stop, it drops a trail hook from the end of the plane with the hopes of catching one of 4 heavy cables going across the deck. When a cable is caught by the tail hook, the plane comes to a very quick stop. Here's the fun part. Just as the plane touches the deck with the hopes of quickly stopping, the pilot hits the throttles for full speed ahead, just in case the hook misses all 4 wires, he'll have enough power and speed to take off, fly back around and try again. HE'S GOING FULL SPEED AHEAD, HOPING TO STOP. Believers, if you are so inclined to pray and hope for the pre-tribulation Rapture, OK, BUT STUDY HARD AND BE READY TO GO THROUGH THE 7 YEARS OF TRIBULATION, JUST IN CASE SOMEONE TOLD YOU WRONG ABOUT THE PRE-TRIB RAPTURE. Like the fighter pilot, you hope to stop before you fall into trouble, (fall into the ocean), but you're ready to keep going hard at it in case the sudden stop doesn't come. Be ready either way and you'll be OK. Please don't "cut your engines" hoping to coast to a stop and find out you were wrong. By then it'll be too late, you're not ready and like the 5 foolish virgins, YOUR OIL IS RUN OUT when you REALLY need it. Study hard, Be ready to go through great tribulation, AND HOPE TO GOD, SOMEONE TOLD YOU RIGHT ABOUT THE PRE-TRIB RAPTURE. It's always better to be prepared in season and out of season so no matter WHAT happens, YOU'RE READY. A "Compromise" TOWARDS "Ready" is always better than "hardheaded" error to be found greatly lacking and not ready. It's always a GOoD Thing to be READY for Battle and not need it than not be ready, and not, Be Blessed.
