MORNINGTIME 4100by Benjamin Munsell on September 16, 2022
For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be. And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the Elect's sake, whom He hath chosen, He hath shortened the days. Mark 13:19-20. Rapture or no rapture BEFORE the 7-year Tribulation, there will be Believers all over the earth. Salvation will still be offered to every man, woman and child still on planet earth. The term "no flesh should be saved:" has different meanings. One is that no flesh, as in human beings, will be left on planet earth. The human race would have been wiped out if not for the Lord shortening those days. Another meaning could be that the world will run out of people still seeking Christ, that no one left WANTS to be Saved. I prefer to think the first. If the Lord didn't put a stop to Satan's death and destruction, there would be no one left. AAHHH, BUT GOD, in His great Mercy and Grace is going after all the lost sheep and bringing every last one of them until ALL His sheep are accounted for. As long as there are people on this earth, there will be people needing Salvation. And the Holy Spirit will still be here to help bring them in. Why does this matter if the Lord takes all the Christians out of here before the Tribulation starts, (as many seem to hope for)? No matter what you've been taught about "the rapture", there will still be Believers throughout the whole book of Revelation going about the Lord's business of Preaching Christ and Him Crucified. My point? No matter what's coming to planet earth, THE LORD IS PLENTY ABLE AND CAPABLE TO KEEP ALL HIS IN CHRIST, NO MATTER WHAT. Live, work and die in Christ, or live work and die without Christ, that choice is yours. TODAY is your day to decide. Give no thought for tomorrow, are you Right with Christ TODAY??? Without Christ, ALL your tomorrow's only lead to growing eternal Death, and with that, you will not, Be Blessed.
