MORNINGTIME 4113by Benjamin Munsell on October 5, 2022
(Job has just lost EVERYTHING). Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped, And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; BLESSED BE THE NAME OF THE LORD. In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. Job 1:20-22. The Lord knew that Pharaoh would never soften his heart and let the Jews leave Egypt, so He used Pharaoh to show all the Egyptians how the Lord God Almighty handled stiff necked and cold-hearted people. The Lord showed EVERYBODY that no one and no thing would stop the Lord from accomplishing His Plans, His Purposes, in His time. The Lord also offered Pharaoh great Mercy and Grace to stop ALL the plagues if Pharaoh would simply let His people go. In the end, the Lord put a stop to Pharaoh's rebellion by drowning. The Lord kicked out all the props that people looked to for help and protection until there were no idols or little gods to lean on. The Lord is a jealous God and will not tolerate any other gods before Him. Are we learning from Pharaoh's mistakes? Like Pharaoh, we're coming under the start of Judgment and Tribulation. WILL WE LISTEN, REPENT, AND TURN BACK TO THE LORD? Before this is over, the Lord will take down this world and everything else man looks to for support and resources OTHER than the Lord. He will be the only One still standing, along with the Bride of Christ, when He's done. Are you on "His Side", or are you against Him and looking for a better offer from someplace else? Everyone's future is in the Hands of the Lord. Is your future full of Joy Unspeakable, or unspeakable tribulation. The Choice is yours, and yes, you can be Assured of your Salvation no matter what happens to your body. No one said we get out of here with all parts intact. But we will get out of here and it's our choice if we want to Be Blessed in Salvation, or live Cursed in our sins and rebellion. Will you, Be Blessed.
