Grace and Peace be multiplied unto you through the KNOWLEDGE of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as His Divine Power hath given unto us ALL THINGS that pertain unto Life and Godliness, through the KNOWLEDGE of Him that hath called us to Glory and Virtue: Whereby are given unto us EXCEEDING GREAT AND PRECIOUS PROMISES: that by These ye might be partakers of the Divine Nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And besides this, giving all diligence, ADD to your FAITH VIRTUE; and to VIRTUE KNOWLEDGE; And to KNOWLEDGE TEMPERANCE; and to TEMPERANCE PATIENCE; and to PATIENCE GODLINESS; And to GODLINESS BROTHERLY KINDNESS; and to BROTHERLY KINDNESS CHARITY, (Love). For if these things be in you, AND ABOUND, they make you that YE SHALL NEITHER BE BARREN NOR UNFRUITFUL IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST. 2 Peter 1:2-8. These Promises are exceedingly Great and Glorious and are for us to ask for AND TO RECEIVE AND TO APPLY TO OUR LIVES AND TO BELIEVE AS IF THEY WERE TRUE AND FAITHFUL. These aren't "window dressing" promises we get to pick and choose what we want and leave the rest, no, we are required to take them so we can "stay updated" on all the Lord has for each and every one of us about Who He Is and What He Wants PERSONALLY in each one of our lives. Without this Information we will lack in our "God Knowledge" and Satan will try to sneak in with lies and falsehoods ABOUT God. Every have the thought, "That's a good promise, but that one's for someone else, not you, you don't need that one"? That's straight from Satan himself. If the Bible has a promise, OR A WARNING, it's for you and your Understanding of Who God Is and What He Wants. EVERYTHING in the Bible is for you to read, ask for, THEN UNDERSTAND, and Live with, in and through the Lord Jesus Christ. He's only asking that you will Trust Him in ALL He Says, THEN comes the Understanding. This is a Walk By Faith and taking His Word as Absolute Truth, and a Life of, Be Blessed.
