For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that IF ANY WOULD NOT WORK, NEITHER SHOULD HE EAT. 2 Thessalonians 3:10. And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and glean ears of corn after him in whose sight I shall find Grace. (Let me go work in the field of the first-person kind enough to allow me to gather from the excess of the harvest). And she said unto her, Go, my daughter. And she went, and came, and gleaned in the field after the reapers: and (she happened) to (work) on a part of the field belonging unto Boaz, who was of the kindred of Elimelech. Then said Boaz unto Ruth, Hearest thou not, my daughter? GO NOT to glean in another field, neither go from hence, BUT ABIDE HERE fast by my maidens: Then she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said unto him, Why have I found grace in thine eyes, that thou shouldest take knowledge of me, seeing I am a stranger? And Boaz said unto her, At mealtime come thou hither, and eat of the bread, and dip thy morsel in the vinegar. And she sat beside the reapers: and he reached her parched corn, and she did eat, and was sufficed, and left. Ruth 2:2-3,8,10,14. Boaz told Ruth, stay in my fields and I will bless you. "Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, LIFT UP YOUR EYES, and look on THE FIELDS; for they ARE WHITE ALREADY TO HARVEST". John 4:35. Whatever field, or place to work the Lord puts you in, be content and do your work as unto the Lord. Do your work as if the Lord of the Harvest were watching you, because He IS watching you and He IS paying attention to how much effort you're putting forth to do your job. Don't be jealous of those who seem to work much less than you, and harvest way more than you. Don't worry about who seems to get all the credit for the work YOU have done. Be Content with wherever the Lord puts you AND LET YOUR LIGHT SO SHINE THAT IT MAY EVEN BRIGHTEN THE DAY OF THOSE AROUND YOU, and you, Be Blessed.
