MORNINGTIME  4134

And he (Jesus) spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow; And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, (where the ground is very hard and dry), and the fowls came and devoured them up: Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. When any one heareth the Word of the Kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. Matthew 13:3-4,18-19. Please grant me a little leeway to make an illustration to try to Encourage you with those "impossible" people trying to bring them to Christ. I'll illustrate. This soil is so hard and dry, it even has cracks in it. The seeds, (the Word), falling ON the soil are gobbled up by the birds. BUT ONE SEED, falls INTO The Crack and the birds miss it. It just sits there until someone accidently spills a little water into The Crack and on the seed. It starts to grow. As it grows, passersby are amazed to see the little seed growing and leave it alone, like an unexpected little novelty. Some even water that little seed growing all by itself in this "desert wasteland". It grows to produce some 30 fold increase. All are astonished that lone little seed actually became something remarkable. No one ever thought it had a chance. The Word, planted in a very "dry" heart of a loved one everyone has given up on, to come to Christ? DON'T GIVE UP, KEEP THEM BEFORE THE LORD NO MATTER WHAT THE CIRCUMSTANCES LOOK LIKE. He could be that "miracle" no one had any hope for, BUT YOU KEPT ON PRAYING FOR THEM ANYWAY. They're not "lost" until they breathe out their last breath. BUT MAYBE, they're the one miracle you keep hoping for, IN SPITE OF WHAT EVERYONE SEES, and they finally come to Christ on the back of a miracle. Don't give up on ANYONE on your Prayer List, they're ALL fair game for Salvation, even at almost "The End". Remember the thief on the Cross who called out to Christ, to Greatly, Be Blessed.
