Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made: In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats; Isaiah 2:8&20. (In that Great Day of the Lord, man will literally "run for the hills" in great fear and trembling as they cast aside their idols in the Presence of the Lord, not in Repentance, but in casting aside all "dead weight" hampering them from a speedy get-away). And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet REPENTED NOT OF THE works of their hands, that they should not WORSHIP (of) devils, and IDOLS of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Revelation 9:20. {Strong's Definition of "Worship":  (meaning to kiss like a dog licking his master´s hand); to fawn or crouch to that is (literally or figuratively) prostrate oneself in homage (do reverence to adore): - worship.} You will either Worship the Creator, God, or the things created by man, being people and their amazing personalities, or items of silver, gold and other man-made things. Recently, we chose MEN to save us from the sense of Impending Doom, and turned our backs to God, THE CREATOR. If you want to seek a (Godless) man to rule over you in 2 years, hang on because the ULTIMATE Man of Sin will quietly come on the scene and "solve" most of the world's problems. He will even look "better" than God who can't be seen or touched. The man of sin will be the ULTIMATE in Idol Worship, AND HE WILL DECEIVE ALL THE WORLD, whose names are NOT written in the Lamb's Book of Life. Satan gives us all the man-made idols we want, to keep our eyes focused on them, AND AWAY FROM GOD. Satan, as an angel of light, desires all men to worship him. Your idols today are just a "taste", a forerunner of that Great Idol, the anti-Christ to soon (???) come. Worship him, and not, Be Blessed.
