Peace I leave with you, My Peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED, NEITHER LET IT BE AFRAID. John 14:27. These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have Peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD. John 16:33. Let's be sure there is no confusion here. Christ brings a Peace that passes all understanding when you come to Christ in Repentance unto Salvation. Your Heart is towards Christ as you learn day by day to hear and obey the Holy Spirit as He directed your steps. This Peace will never leave you, even when you go through some hardship and don't recognize it for a while. Situations and Circumstances may try to "block" you from seeing that Peace, but it's still there. Even if your world is totally falling apart, the Holy Spirit, The Comforter, WILL BE WITH YOU AS YOU COME THROUGH AND OUT THE OTHER SIDE. With your Heart for Christ, your Salvation is secure and the Witness to this is Christ's Peace resting on you. Next thought. The Lord will allow trials, troubles, testing's and tribulations, along with His Chastening’s, Chastising’s and Corrections to Grow you In Christ and away from the pull of the world. It's during THESE times that Peace seems to go out the window. Exposed sin is always unsettling as the Holy Spirit is at work removing it. It isn't fun and there may be pain, but the Holy Spirit Knows what He's doing and each time he finishes a "clean up on Isle 4", He will always bring Peace. Christ is coming back for His Pure, Holy, Spotless Bride, and the Holy Spirit is hard at work getting His Bride prepared. Your Faith, Obedience and Boldness will Grow as you Grow in CHRISTLIKENESS. Some Growth is easy, some is hard, but ALL of it is GOoD. The Joy of the Lord is your Strength, and the Peace that passes Understanding will hold, even when nothing else does. Our time on Earth is "bootcamp" Preparation for Heaven, where we will, Be Blessed.
