MORNINGTIME 4189by Benjamin Munsell on January 19, 2023
Humble yourselves therefore under the Mighty Hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time: casting all your care upon Him; FOR HE CARETH FOR YOU. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the Devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 1 Peter 5:6-8. Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, YE ARE IN HEAVINESS THROUGH manifold temptations: That THE TRIAL OF YOUR FAITH, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be TRIED WITH FIRE, might be found unto Praise and Honour and Glory at the Appearing of Jesus Christ: 1 Peter 1:6-7. Years ago, there used to be a TV show with some of the words to the theme song being, "Whatever will be, will be". Meaning, "Life is going to happen and there isn't anything you can do to change it, so just accept it and move on". That may be the world's way, BUT THAT'S NOT GOD'S WAY. Whatever happens in your life TODAY is FULLY under the Control of the Hand of the Lord. As you read, study and ponder on the Word of the Lord and how It is infused into your Life, there are two things you can do about it. First, the Lord will Build Your Faith for you to KNOW that He's Fully and Totally in control of EVERY aspect of Life and second, you can talk to Him about everything going on in your life and His Answers to your questions will assure you that everything going on with you Today is Purposefully Designed To Grow You In Christ and CHRISTLIKENESS. And as an added bonus, you can ask the Lord to bring others out of the world and into Salvation, and that they too will come to understand that the Lord Loves them and wants nothing but GOoD things in their Life. Yes, we make personal choices, but the Lord will use our choices to draw us unto Himself. Most will try to totally ignore the Lord, but a few will listen to you and come to Christ in Repentance unto Salvation. Christ ALONE Saves, but you can point them all TO Christ and leave the rest of it up to Him. PRAY, and, Be Blessed.
