Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, SO THE LORD THY GOD CHASTENETH THEE. Therefore thou shalt Keep the Commandments of the Lord thy God, to Walk in His Ways, and to Fear Him (with a Holy and Reverent fear). For the Lord thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills; A land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass. When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt Bless The Lord thy God for the good land which He hath given thee. BEWARE THAT THOU FORGET NOT THE LORD THY GOD, IN NOT KEEPING HIS COMMANDMENTS, AND HIS JUDGMENTS, AND HIS STATUTES, WHICH I COMMAND THEE THIS DAY: Deuteronomy 8:5-7,9-11. We've recently been studying the lost greatly Prospering in the Things of the World and their deadly ending. Here we're looking at the Lord's People being brought into Great Prosperity as the Lord leads them into the Promised Land, as He reminds them to NEVER forget His Goodness to them. As GOoD as these physical Blessings are to His People in the Old Testament, They are but a shadow of the GREAT BLESSINGS the Lord has for His People in the New Testament WITH THE SAME NEVER ENDING WARNING TO NEVER FORGET THE LORD THY GOD. As the whole world is now turning its collective "back" to the Lord, as the Lord withdraws His Hand of Blessings to all peoples and nations, the Warning continues; "Don't forget the Perfect Blessing of My Son, the Lord Jesus Christ and His Keeping Power, to keep you Safe In Him as your physical Blessings start to dry up. Remember His Will and His Ways to keep you Safe THROUGH THE ONRUSH OF COMING EVIL. Obey Him in all He asks of you and you will Walk with Him in ALL of Eternity". THAT'S a "Promised Land" the Old Testament Believers could only dream about. We have the Incorruptible Bread of Life, to, Be Blessed.
