Remembering without ceasing your work of Faith, and labour of Love, and Patience of Hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father; Knowing, brethren beloved, your Election of God. For our Gospel came not unto you in Word only, but also in Power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much Assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake. And ye became Followers of us, and of the Lord, having Received the Word in MUCH Affliction, WITH JOY of the Holy Ghost: 1 Thessalonians 1:3-6. These things are impossible to do on our own as these are all Attributes of the Lord. And nobody gets these attributes into their life except by the Lord. Sure, Satan offers his false imitation of these, and his versions are very cheap and easy, with deadly results. Only working in and through Christ can these be yours. And there will be some pain and suffering on this "Attributes" Road. Yes, these are all Gifts and Fruits of the Lord to instill into your life, as He first cuts out the wood, hay and burns off the stubble to make room for His Attributes. Obedience watered by tears of Anguish will bring forth these Real Fruits of the Work already done on the Cross of Calvary. If you'll just let go, and let God, He'll work in your Garden to bring forth 30, 60, even 100 fold of His Attributes into you. Pray and Obey, and let Him change your life from nice, to, THANK YOU LORD JESUS, with His Joy in even your "impossible" situations. As you Grow in CHRISTLIKENESS, you'll fall away from worldliness, AND YOU'LL NEVER MISS IT (worldliness) AND NEVER LOOK BACK. In Christ, you're always looking Forward, and never back. Behind you is Loss, ahead is Gain, and Gaining Christ is what this life on Planet Earth is all about. Trust the Word to move you towards Holiness, Righteousness, Purity, Faith, Obedience, Boldness and Perseverance. And that's not just a mouthful, that's a Heart FULL of Attributes you can Forever Live with. "Sit back" in Christ, and Forever, Be Blessed.
