Ye ARE the Light of the world. A city that is set on an hill CANNOT be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and IT GIVETH LIGHT unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine BEFORE men, that they may see YOUR GOOD WORKS, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16. Yes, as a Christian, your Light WILL shine forth, and it WILL shine on all you do and say for and about the Lord. (We're talking Heart Attitude here). If you're living a ho-hum "christian" life with very little effort to get to know Christ, that "effort" will be seen by all and will reflect poorly on Christ Himself. The world will see and say, "If that's all a Christian is supposed to be, I don't want it", and move on to other "gods". But if you're Life, mistakes and all, shows someone doing their best to get to Know Christ, and share that Knowledge of Christ with others, they WILL have to credit you as One Of His. A worldly person can spot a phony in a second, and they WILL get the word out. This is not about if the world likes you or agrees with you, but about your Sincerity FOR Christ. Remember, worldly people ARE looking for answers to their problems, and if you're consistently sharing Christ as THE Answer, they will have to deal with the Holy Spirit as He works on THEIR heart attitude towards Christ. All you have to do is SHARE Christ, their response is then between them and the Lord. They may Thank You, or they may hate you, but they WILL notice Whose you are, and then deal with it. So, don't be a wimpy little light that barely shines on anything, BE A LIGHT THE WORLD CAN'T IGNORE AND HAS TO DEAL WITH. One so Bright that all your deeds AND theirs are exposed for all to see, and you have no shame or embarrassment when everything about you is examined. Christ In and On you will cover many of your "faults" the world sees. And rest assured, they WILL see you changing into CHRISTLIKENESS, and that's enough for them to, Be Blessed.
