MORNINGTIME   4266 

For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed. For they prophesy falsely unto you in My Name: I HAVE NOT SENT THEM, saith the Lord. For thus saith the Lord, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform My GOoD Word toward you, in causing you to return to this place. For I know the Thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, Thoughts of Peace, and not of evil, to give you an Expected End. THEN shall ye call upon Me, and ye shall go and pray unto Me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek Me, and find Me, when ye shall search for Me WITH ALL YOUR HEART. Jeremiah 29:8-13. The Lord is telling the Jews that they are going into 70 years of captivity FOR THEIR OWN SAFETY AND PROTECTION while the Lord cleanses the land of (among other things) all the false prophets who are falsely telling all the people that their future captivity IS A BAD THING. These false prophets are telling the Jews that their future will be filled with Death and Destruction AND TO FEAR FOR THEIR OWN SAFETY because this captivity is not of the Lord. THESE FALSE PROPHETS ARE WRONG, NOT RECOGNIZING IT IS THE HAND OF THE LORD TAKING THEM INTO THE FUTURE "TERRIBLE TIMES" FOR THEIR OWN GOOD. The Lord will keep them safe IN HIM while He cleanses the land around them, the Jews. These false prophets are sowing fear and discord about something the Lord will use to Cleanse and Purify His people. They are saying the future captivity is bad, is NOT of the Lord, and that the Jews should run FROM this captivity. THESE SHORT SIGHTED "prophets" DON'T SEE THE KEEPING POWER BY THE HAND OF THE LORD ANYWHERE AND EVERYWHERE THE LORD TAKES HIS PEOPLE. These same false prophets today are telling His people to fear the future and even run from it looking elsewhere for safety outside of the Lord where they will not, Be Blessed.
