For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your (false) prophets and your (worldly wisdom) diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams (your nightmares with great fear of the future) which YE cause to be dreamed. FOR THEY PROPHESY FALSELY unto you in My Name: I HAVE NOT SENT THEM, saith the Lord. Jeremiah 29:8-9. The Old Testament Jewish Law, from Moses, can do nothing more than show you your Sins, Errors and Failings to keep the Law. Their is NO Mercy and Grace in the Law itself, it can ONLY show you where you've Broken the Law and must suffer punishment. THE LAW ITSELF OFFERS NO HOPE OF ANY KIND. The only Place you might possibly find SOME Mercy and Grace is in how much, or how little punishment is given to you in response to your Breaking the Law. The News, such as NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX, etc. also have no Mercy and Grace to offer as they can only tell you about what has already happened. The News, when properly given, is generally bad, sad, and disheartening. It reflects the "Badness" of Society as a whole. The News, like the Law, is generally depressing, AND WILL BRING YOU "DOWN" IN YOUR FAITH AND CONFIDENCE IN MANKIND IN GENERAL. (As an illustration), to Focus ONLY on the Law, or News, will bring you to want to give up and quit. "There's no Hope, why even bother anymore". (The GOoD News). TO FOCUS YOUR EYES ON CHRIST, WHO HAS PAID FOR ALL YOUR SINS, ALL YOUR BREAKING OF THE LAW, AND WHO ALLOWS YOU TO WALK AWAY FROM THE LAW AS A FREE MAN, THIS IS TOTAL MERCY AND GRACE YOU WILL NOT FIND IN THE WORLD. Even a Godless Judge offering you a lighter sentence is offering you a CHRISTLIKE Attribute. Mercy and Grace, at its Source, come from Christ Alone. Today's World is totally Legalistic and has no Hope to offer. Christ has ALL HOPE to Offer to every man, woman and child to ever walk on planet Earth. Christ, our Victorious King, has Conquered Sin, Satan and Hopelessness, to give you Hope, as you will, Be Blessed.
