MORNINGTIME 2666

AND MY SPEECH and my preaching WAS not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but IN DEMONSTRATION OF the Spirit and of power; That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in THE POWER OF GOD. 1 Corinthians 2:4-5. The Apostle Paul is speaking here. These two verses are very Powerful, and when you understand what they're driving at, they open up a whole new World of Understanding. I'll explain. Jesus Christ IS The Living Word, and His Word IS the Gospel, and only The Gospel, only The Word, only Christ, has The Power to Save one from the death grip of sin and bring them into the Life with, in, and of, Jesus Christ, now and for ALL of Eternity. The Bible IS His Written Word. I won't split hairs, but be careful of which Bible version you like to use, very few "Bibles" are Truly the Words of Christ. For us English speaking people, if being a Master of the English Language were good enough, than a gifted Orator would be all you need to Save people. That would leave 95% of us little people out of the "Saving" picture. But it doesn't work that way. The Gospel IS the Great Equalizer. Anyone, from the Collage Professor, to the trash collector, who can read from, speak, or use the Gospel, in context, can be used by the Lord to Save people. When the words of the Gospel, the Bible, written or spoken, are given out, the Holy Spirit flows out WITH those words and He, and He alone, can bring someone to salvation. If you're thirsty and I give you a cup of cold water, I am just the delivery boy OF THAT WHICH REFRESHES YOU. The water is what you crave, not me. If I write or speak The Gospel, that Gospel alone, in the Hands of the Holy Spirit, has the Power of the Lord God Almighty to bring you under Conviction and Save you from your sins. If a nighttime TV comedian sarcastically reads John 3:16 and laughs, the Holy Spirit will still use that Gospel to Save someone. Their attitude doesn't matter, only The Gospel does. Study The Gospel, the Bible, the Word, and, Be Blessed.
